Terms
Terms of service | Kalends
Effective from 6 August 2026. Kalends may be used by businesses, organisations, households and private individuals.
Application and acceptance
These terms apply between Asset Media JL, sole trader, registration no. 750929-4992 (“Kalends”), and the individual, household, business or organisation that orders, creates an account in or uses the service (the “customer”). A person acting for a business or organisation represents that they are authorised to act for that customer. By ordering, creating an account or using Kalends, the customer accepts the terms.
If the customer is a consumer, these terms apply only to the extent that they do not conflict with mandatory consumer law. The customer's rights under mandatory law are unaffected.
The service
Kalends is a web-based administrative aid for recurring responsibilities, processes and commitments in settings such as businesses, organisations and households. Kalends does not provide legal, financial, tax or other professional advice and does not guarantee that the customer complies with law, contracts, deadlines or other obligations.
Accounts and access
New organisations can create an account only through a personal invitation from Kalends. You are responsible for ensuring registration information is accurate and for protecting sign-in credentials. Accounts may only be used by people whom the customer has authorised.
Customer responsibilities
The customer is responsible for ensuring that information, dates, reminders, decisions and workflows entered into Kalends are accurate and appropriate for the customer's use. The customer must independently verify critical deadlines and results. The service must not be used for unlawful activity, intrusion, malicious code or processing information that the customer has no right to handle. Businesses and organisations are responsible for having a lawful basis for their personal-data processing.
Backups and export
Kalends makes recurring backups of production data and uses commercially reasonable measures to verify that data can be restored. Kalends intends its own backups normally to be sufficient after an operational failure, but no backup process can guarantee that data will never be lost.
An account administrator can export the account's shared content and history, together with their own private entries, to an Excel workbook. Another user's private entries are never included. Passwords, secret keys and payment-provider implementation details are also excluded.
The export is a standalone customer copy for data portability and recovery to the extent technically possible. It does not guarantee an identical restoration: personal views and other customisation may differ, and accounts, security information and external integrations may need to be configured again.
The customer should regularly save a current export separately from Kalends where loss of the information could have serious consequences. Subject to liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law, the customer bears ultimate responsibility for retaining its own copies of critical information and verifying deadlines independently of the service's reminders.
Availability, external services and support
Kalends is provided as is and as available. We aim to provide a functional and secure service but give no warranty of uninterrupted operation, freedom from errors, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or that data will never be lost. Planned maintenance, faults, internet connections and external providers may affect the service. No service levels apply unless agreed in writing. Contact support@kalends.io or use the contact form for support.
Payment and changes
Paid subscriptions, prices and billing terms are shown when ordering. We may update the service and these terms. For material changes, we will notify customers reasonably before they take effect.
Errors and correction
If the customer reports a verifiable error, Kalends will use commercially reasonable efforts to investigate and, where possible, correct the error, restore the affected function or help the customer recover available information. For customers who are not consumers, this is the sole ordinary contractual remedy for errors, interruptions or lack of availability. Consumers' rights under mandatory law are unaffected.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by mandatory law, Kalends is not liable for loss caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer, decisions made by the customer, the customer's failure to verify a critical deadline or retain an available export, or external services and circumstances outside Kalends' reasonable control.
For customers that are businesses or organisations, Kalends is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or revenue, loss of production, interruption, lost business opportunity, loss of goodwill, loss of data, data reconstruction costs, missed deadlines or third-party claims. If liability cannot legally be excluded, Kalends' aggregate liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the lower of (a) the fees actually paid by the customer during the three months immediately preceding the event and (b) SEK 1,000.
The limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law or to loss caused intentionally or through gross negligence by Kalends. They do not limit a data subject's rights under data-protection law. For consumers, the limitations apply only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute through dialogue. If that is unsuccessful, the dispute will be decided by the Swedish general courts.
